Welcome to the 2012 YOUTH CUP For this 26th edition of the international Handball tournament YOUTH CUP, I have the honour to act again as chairman of the organizing team. Since 1987, this annual meeting has become one of the main events in the sports calendar of the city of Dudelange. More than 100 teams comimg from 20 different nations, representing about 3000 young players, have participated at our tournament during the last 25 years. On this year's Easter weekend (7th and 8th of April), again 10 teams coming from 10 different countries, counting some 150 youngsters, will spend some very great moments together, sharing as well harmony, friendship and fair-play. The tradition of this high level competition will certainly be fulfilled once again, contributing to the high rank of reputation the HBD's Youth Cup has acquired over the last decades. I am proud to make myself the spokesman of my fellow members of the organizing team, as well as of the HBD and of the municipality of Dudelange and its population, to welcome the different clubs and the players in "the Forge of the South" and to wish them to spend 2 memorable days with us in Luxembourg, moments I hope they will never forget.
